Who is answers com
Answers, answers can be changed and edited. Pretty simple review, Asked question, Paid for question all ok, Unsubscribed Then charged anyway, Full refund from paypal not after spending a lot of time on the issue. Enjoy the jpg Most concerning was the incorrect charge after unsubscribing. Their system appears to be automated and the lack of follow-through cancelation request appears to be either a result of bad billing procedures or intentional misuse of billing information.
So would avoid, Probably could have spent the time researching the question in google or a library, but that isn't the point. This website has nothing to do with answer or helping people it just a clickbait to lure to click on their ads. Site doesn't send email verification - despite several attempts to resend for it. When you then try to reset your password, it'll then say it cannot, because your email already exists. That's crook city. Woop te do. I've seen some interesting posts that have been sponsored on Facebook, only to be riddled with advertisements when I click on the link to the Answers.
These adverts slow the website down so much that it is nigh on impossible to navigate to the next section of the post. Also, make sure you turn your speakers down when you visit this website as you'll usually get a random advertisement video start automatically playing with sound.
Awful if you ask me. The website is very good even though people complain about the ads, it doesn't matter and it's fast. Hire a writer that can engage your audience. Your stories are at times captavating, but always fall flat. I am always sad that I scrolled through 23 photos of something I already knew and have more information than the publisher.
No question just a complaint. Takes on average of 10 minutes to load each of their pages even with high speed broad band! You have a product that people want to see. But the service is worse than the old school 14 kb dial up modems. This site provides helpful answers in a large number of categories, and many are well-researched and accurate. However, it is user-provided and some answers are not helpful at all.
The wiki concept means that they can be improved over time, and updated if they receive enough interest - they will not always remain static, outdated, or completely wrong, as is the case on other sites.
Don't bother looking at a story from these douche buckets. Have to click through 40 pages before you finally start getting to the story line. I will be blocking this terrible website from my life. Maybe people would read some crap on here if it was all on 1 or 2 pages instead of stretching a small paragraph into pages. For now I d ok nt even bother going on a story if it is associated with this garbage company.
I went on to answers. Very well. We will give you an answer to your question over the course of several pages, often just to complete one sentence, so that on each page we can load up 20 banner ads above, below, and to the sides. Yes this will lag like crazy and very likely freeze up your browser, but meh Maybe instead of telling us how crappy a site we are you ought to boycott every business that advertises with us.
THAT might teach us, and those businesses, a lesson once and for all. They lure you in with interesting content, then make it virtually impossible to view. They also overlap ads, like when you try to watch a video some other one is playing at the same time and you can't turn it off.
I have had it with you Answers and will no longer click on your tempting links! You suck! This site is awful. When you want one simple sentence to answer a question, instead you get spammed with ads all over the screen, and it has like 15 dumb slides just to say one or two sentences.
Very inconvenient. And almost every time I try to use it, it just freezes up and crashes. Never use this. Use ANY website but this. It should be a crime to say these people answer anything, its all incredibly vague and general information.
And 9 ads on the same page! Yes 9, motion advertisements were on the page. I had a question about a car problem I was having and they had the answer, very useful. I checked out some of the articles and enjoyed the video articles very much.
The site is practically unusable. It has so many ads, cross-scripting and probably viruses that it takes forever for the page to load. When you try to ask a question, it takes up to 5 minutes to type it because the site is so busy with ads and who knows what else that only half of the characters that are typed actually make it onto the screen.
Very frustrating. So frustrating that I wont use the site or click on any link that leads to the site. A waste of web space. Tip for consumers: I cannot in good faith recommend this site to anyone. The web has so many other websites that do what this one supposedly does. I might rate answers. However, after repeatedly getting sucked in by headlines such as "13 actors who are box office poison" and being unable to get past the first slide without the site locking up, I now avoid this site.
It is very unresponsive and burdened by advertisements - a total waste of time! Worst site I have ever visited! I honestly think the answer came from a bot In trying to read what was ostensibly a short article, I had to click through literally dozens and dozens of pages.
It's ludicrous. Looking for an answer for one of your queries? If yes then I would suggest you visiting answers. They are a top com-score site and offer one-stop solutions for integrated media across mobile, social and the desktop. It is human nature to ask questions on different topics on a regular basis.
This website is visited regularly by 75, people who actively ask, answer, learn and share their knowledge on varied subjects. The site even offers updated news and articles covering a variety of topics. Their video library provides detailed, hands-on guide when words do not make up while describing a topic.
Recently clicked on a link to answers. Top 10 type thing. It really is pathetic excuse for a site. If it was 1 whole section per page then maybe I wouldn't mind so much but you have to jump through so many links to read a whole article if you can even call it that. Whenever you are at one of the major branded sites, if you have a question—and you should be able to answer it right then and there—that experience will be powered by answers. If it sounds like Karandish has his eye on World Wide Web domination—or at least turning Answers into its own sort of ubiquitous Googlenaut—well, that could be.
Louis, regardless of how successful it becomes? Though the bulk of the team works here, there is a large group in California. The teams communicate regularly via videophone. That sometimes manifests as real face-to-face time. Late last year, Answers mounted a sign—in Answers Blue, of course—on the exterior of its tucked-away Delmar Boulevard headquarters. Perhaps it was a concrete signal that the company is staying in St. Louis is filled with talented developers and IT gurus, and the cost of living is lower than in Silicon Valley.
Square co-founder Jim McKelvey, for instance, has remained in St. Louis and helped launch Arch Grants, a nonprofit luring startups here. Other initiatives, such as Cultivation Capital, a St. Louis—based venture-capital firm, are also encouraging local entrepreneurship. I would love to continue to help that ecosystem change.
